SURPRISE! Even though the Store is Closed our pickers brought in 300 Half Bushel Boxes of Ouchita Gold Peaches, our very best peach! We will be selling them in half bushel boxes only, No sacks, for $25. The store is closed and we will be accepting Cash or Checks only. We will be on the front porch of the Store this Friday from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM.

For this week’s #throwbackthursday, we’re doing a spotlight on Aunt Nig and the delicious cake that she inspired! “My Aunt Nig was my grandmother’s sister who lived in Henderson, Texas. Some of my most special childhood memories were the visits with the Poovey side of our family and sinking my teeth into this incredible cake while we enjoyed long visits and Folgers coffee. Aunt Nig would always say, “Oh honey, it’s a simple cake but I stirred in a lot of love just for you.” - Sharien Ham Strange

We are picking July Prince and August Prince Peaches now. We have lots of peaches on the tables and Half Bushel boxes. They are an Awesome Freestone peach and we have plenty to finish the season. Saturday August 11th will be our last day open this year!

We thought we'd make life easy for you this #tastytuesday, and remind you to come load up on Karien's Korn Dip! This homemade dip is the perfect addition to any get-together, poolside snack or BBQ. Yum!

Everything's better with some cherry on top, right? Our girls work hard behind the scenes to make everything by hand with the freshest ingredients, including the crust on our cherry pie. Stock up!

You can freeze peaches, ice cream, casseroles, breads, cakes, pies, fudge and cookies, and then stock up on jarred products in your pantry to make your holiday season easier and the rest of your year brighter.

For this week’s #tastytuesday, we have baked peaches! - 3 large ripe Ham Orchards peaches - 1 to 2 tbsp. salted butter - 2 tbsp. light brown sugar - 1/4 tsp. cinnamon - Ham Orchards ice cream for topping Slice peaches in half and remove the pit. Place in a oven safe pan. Place a small piece (about 3/4 teaspoon) of butter in the middle of each peach. Combine brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Then sprinkle over the peach. Bake for 8 to 12 minutes, or until golden. Top with cream and caramel if desired. Recipe from: I Heart Naptime
